NorthPoint Church - located in Johnston, Iowa is under construction for their building addition and renovation project. The project will include extensive renovations within a portion of the existing church, while adding 8,900sf of new space for the church’s NextGen ministry and state licensed childcare. Ministry Solutions Group, a program management firm, is serving the project as the Owner’s Representative and Story Construction is serving the project as the general contractor.
Mill City Church - located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is under construction for their building renovation project. The project includes extensive renovations within the existing church. This location will be the church’s first permanent home! The project includes a 750-seat auditorium renovation, renovation to the lobby/gathering space, and NextGen ministry spaces for kids and students. Elder Construction served this project as the general contractor. “I’m so excited to see the church use this space to serve the Fort Collins area. Our team is honored to serve them.”, noted David Evans, the Project Architect.
LifePoint Church, Redemption City Campus - located in Franklin, Tennessee, is under construction for their newest campus location in Williamson County, Tennessee. This project is a new building on a new site. The project includes a 400-seat Sanctuary, lobby/gathering space, NextGen ministry spaces, and campus offices. Dow Smith Company is serving this project as the design-build contractor. “This is our fourth campus project with LPC and we’re grateful to continue our partnership with Dow Smith Company and LifePoint Church”, commented David Evans, the Project Architect.
With the start of summer and favorable weather, exterior construction work has continued to go smoothly at NorthPoint Church in Johnston, Iowa. The new children’s wing is taking shape with the installation of exterior walls and roofing, and interior wall framing will begin very soon. The church is excited to welcome kids and families to this new space in late summer!
Construction at Lord of Hosts Church in Omaha, Nebraska is nearing completion! Final work in their new 1500-seat Sanctuary is taking shape with the installation of the audio, video and theatrical lighting systems. Seating will be installed in late August, and the church will begin prepping for services later this fall.

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, located in Liberty, Missouri, has completed construction on their latest renovation project. Updates to the student ministry area and outdoor gathering spaces has increased the church's ability to cater to its youth ministry and host various supportive events throughout the week. Collaborating closely with Pearce Construction we were able to bring their vision to life.

Traverse Christian Church - located in Windsor, Colorado, is nearing the construction start on their new permanent church home. The project includes a 400-seat Sanctuary, lobby/gathering space and NextGen ministry spaces for kids and students. We have been privileged to know this church and partner with them along this journey of creating their new home. Windsor, Colorado based contractor Elder Construction is serving this project as the general contractor.
Bible Christian Church - located in Garden City, Kansas, is nearing construction completion of their additional lobby and gathering space, worship space with 500 seats and NextGen ministry spaces. Hutton Construction is serving as the selected general contractor.
Abundant Life is in the process of constructing a new children’s worship building and courtyard with a platform for outdoor worship services, which will merge their existing sanctuary and children’s addition into a single campus. Located in the historic Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, Missouri, Abundant Life has pushed to keep the character of the century-old firehouse giving the Mantel Teter team and their partners at Pearce Construction a unique challenge. We look forward to campus construction being completed by Fall of 2024!

Reach Church - located in Des Moines, IA is nearing construction completion of a complete building renovation project. The project involved extensive renovations within the existing church. The before and after transformation of spaces has been incredible for the church’s ministries. Story Construction is serving as the selected general contractor.
First Baptist Church - located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, is nearing construction completion of a major renovation and transformation to their 1,100-seat Sanctuary and lobby/gathering spaces. This has been a long-time client of ours since the 1970’s with six phases of projects. What an honor to continue to serve this church and ministry. Kansas City, Missouri based contractor Pearce Construction is serving the project as the general contractor partner.

Bible Christian Church, located in Garden City, Kansas, is one step closer to completing construction with the team of Mantel Teter and Hutton. The church needed additional space for lobby and gathering, worship space for 500 seats and NextGen ministry spaces to balance with the new worship space seating capacity. Last month we had some great progress on the the metal stud framing and PEMB erection!
City Church - located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is nearing construction completion. The project is enclosed and interior finish work has begun. All site utilities are installed while other site work progresses for the parking lot and drives. This is the first project for City Church and will be their permanent home. The church has a heart and mission to stay nearby and serve the urban core of Murfreesboro, TN. This area of middle Tennessee is the fastest growing in the state. “It’s been such a privilege for our team to partner with this church, alongside Dow Smith Company; helping this church be one step closer to having a permanent place to do the ministry that God has called them to do”, shared David Evans, the Project Architect.
God has called Reach Church, located in Des Moines, IA, to be a multi-generational church, which includes reaching the next generation. To accomplish their big vision and lay the foundation for decades to come, they are renovating and expanding their existing facility to reach “THE ONE.” The focus of their building renovation includes cosmetic improvements to the building exterior, first impressions lobby, administrative areas, worship space, children’s and youth worship spaces, and classrooms.
Renovations are now underway. Ames, Iowa based general contractor Story Construction and Kansas City, Missouri based architect Mantel Teter are overseeing construction of this building expansion and renovation project.
