Big things are happening at NorthPoint Church in Johnston, IA! The church recently completed construction on a 9,000 s.f. building addition and 25,000 s.f. renovation project. The renovation project includes the expansion of their existing lobby and fellowship hall space into an extensive lobby/café, indoor pickleball and volleyball courts as well as a dedicated children’s playscape. Additional renovation in the children’s wing provides a new secure check-in hub, and updated classrooms that connect to the new addition where three classrooms and two large-group worship spaces allow for much needed growth in their next-gen ministries. Two age-specific outdoor playgrounds with artificial turf are easily accessible on the south side of the new children’s classroom addition and meet the requirements allowing the church to utilize this portion of the building for a licensed childcare center.
