Journey Church International engaged Mantel Teter's development services to determine the feasibility of a vacant property for their ministry. Through thorough Site Evaluation, Programming, and Master Planning exercises, Mantel Teter assisted the church in deciding to purchase property.
In addition to property evaluation, the Mantel Teter team helped JCI analyze their attendance records, growth patterns, financing, fundraising potential and ministry goals to establish what spaces were needed, what that space might cost to build and how the church could pay for it without sacrificing their ability to do ministry. The information gathered during this process made it clear to the church leadership team that the initial phase of construction should include an expandable 350 seat Auditorium, Christian education space and minimal office space. As the church continues to grow, they are positioned to increase their worship capacity to 700 and to re-balance supporting ministry spaces.
