The 30,000 S.F. addition and complete remodeling of the existing 10,000 S.F. City Hall consisted of new offices for all the city departments with all necessary support areas. The expanded city hall is located on the Shawnee town square and is prominent on the major intersection of Johnson Drive and Nieman.
The building exterior is brick and cast stone with copper colored architectural batten seamed roofing in a contemporary style incorporating neoclassical forms. The exterior design forms and materials provide a strong image of enduring quality reminiscent in many 19th and early 20th century city halls in America. read more >>
