This project involved the adaptive reuse of a 1970’s Taco Bell restaurant to be converted into a branch bank in Shawnee, Kansas. The utilization of much of the existing restaurant’s structural systems, drives and parking areas was carefully coordinated with two strategically located additions which completely changed the character from a fast food restaurant to a modern branch bank facility. Included in this project design are three walk-in teller lines, loan officer area, presidential office/conference room, break room, teller workroom and a drive-thru teller area adjacent to walk-in teller areas for staffing efficiency. Exterior improvements included the addition of a canopy with three drive-thru lanes and an ATM. read more >>
