The Wyatt Park Baptist Church congregation had been worshipping in the gymnasium since 1994, when the original building was constructed. Mantel Teter Architects worked with the building committee and various ministry groups in the church through a series of programming workshops to determine the vision of the church for the needed 1,000 seat sanctuary building and updating of the church’s master plan. A written program with a site analysis, feasibility study, and financial models was provided. We assisted the church in developing a budget based on the prioritization of needs.

Mantel Teter Architects created conceptual floor plans, elevations, and three-dimensional models to communicate the design for the project. Our firm assisted the church’s fund raising consultant with visual aids and graphic design for use in their promotional materials. We also made several congregational presentations of the drawings at various phases of completion to ensure good communication.
