Sandy Queen, Building Committee Chair 913.897.3805

Mantel Teter Architects began its relationship with Community Covenant Church over 25 years ago while serving the church as its architect for the original building. This relationship has continued over the years and thus the church selected Mantel Teter Architects to design its new campus located in Lenexa, Kansas. The recently completed relocation project is the fourth project on which Mantel Teter Architects has served Community Covenant Church as architect.

Mantel Teter Architects worked with the building committee and various ministry groups in the church through a series of programming workshops to determine the vision of the church and creating of the church’s new campus master plan. A written program with a site analysis, feasibility study, and financial models were provided.

TESTIMONIAL

“Both Skyler and David were able to guide us through a planning process, draw and revise plans according to our request, and see the project through to its full completion. We are particularly pleased with our signature cross tower, the exclusive design of our main entrance using existing stained glass, and the front of the sanctuary. The sanctuary is more beautiful than we even imagined…Skyler designed a building that captured who we are and why we do ministry.”
