The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity House receives a Project of the Year award.

Rau Construction was honored by the Associated General Contractors of America, Kansas City Chapter with a Project of the Year award for their work with the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity House. This award was for the category of General Contractor $1-$5 Million.

With a completely new front façade, the house compliments the historic neighborhood located at 17th and Tennessee in Lawrence, Kansas. The addition adds 7,000 square feet to sleep, study and relax, with 16 computers, a larger chapter room, a faculty office, and a media room. The team of Rau Construction and Mantel Teter Architects completed the renovated house on time and under budget in March 2009.
